Susan E. Galvan is a lifelong seeker of spiritual truth and a compassionate service provider. In 1978, a spontaneous and intense spiritual awakening changed the course of her life forever. With no roadmap to follow, she learned—moment by moment—how to rebuild herself from the inside out. That moment marked the beginning of her sacred mission: to help others navigate the unknown after a near-death or life-altering spiritual experience.
Determined to understand the nature of consciousness and healing, Susan earned her master’s in Consciousness Studies and later helped shape graduate programs that merged spirituality, psychology, and personal transformation. As a faculty member and program chair, she worked with midlife adults experiencing spiritual emergence, guiding them with empathy, skill, and a deep understanding drawn from her own lived experiences.
Susan has walked between worlds—between the material and the spiritual, between certainty and mystery. Her work spans pain management in clinical settings, spiritual ministry, and helping countless individuals integrate the Light they’ve encountered. She offers not answers, but tools for grounding, for remembering, for becoming.
Her message is simple yet profound: you are not lost—you are becoming. Through her book, Integrating the Light, Susan offers not theory, but testimony—a loving hand for those finding their way home after touching the Eternal.
When she’s not teaching or writing, Susan finds peace in nature, prayer, and quiet practices that ground her in the present moment. She continues to serve as a voice for those seeking meaning beyond the veil, reminding each soul that their Light has a place in this world, too.
